Fall Protection

Fall Protection is the backup system planned for a worker who could lose his or her balance at height, in order to control or eliminate injury potential.  Many employees view fall protection as a hindrance to their work. However, fall protection saves hundreds of lives each year. 

Fall Protection is required in the following situations:

• When working above dangerous equipment, regardless of the height
• When working on forms or steel over 6' in height
• When working on scaffolding over 10' in height
• When on walking / working surfaces over 4' in height in general industry
• When on walking / working surfaces over 6' in height in construction
• When using vertical ladders without cages over 24'
• When working in an articulating and / or telescoping boom lifts and bucket trucks

If your company works in any of these situations, fall arrest systems MUST be used and your employees MUST be trained on proper safety procedures.

Self Retracting Lifelines (SRL) economically replace lanyards with the versatility and added safety of a self retracting lifeline.  This retractable technology in SRL's ensures falls are stopped within a few inches making self retracting lifelines safer than traditional lanyards. Retractable technology reduces fall clearance trip hazards. 

Anchorages provide a connector that can be used anywhere an anchorage point is needed. No matter what you are connecting to we have an anchorage to get the job done and keep you safe in case of a fall. 

Fall rated hardware consists of carabiners and snap hooks. These are an extremely versatile choice to keep your fall protection system securely connected. User-friendly design for simple operation even while wearing gloves.
