Chain & Alloy Chain Slings

Alloy Chain Slings have the advantage of being durable, extremely flexible and its length can be made adjustable.  These slings employing alloy chain are resistant against a load's sharp edges that can be abrading to other softer sling materials. Alloy chain slings are the most durable type of sling and is easily repaired in the event of damage.  Alloy chain slings are ideal for harsh environments.  An alloy chain sling will tolerate a wide range of termperature; however, compared to other types of slings, it is relatively expensive and, depending upon the grade of alloy chain used, relatively heavy.  Our alloy chain slings are available in single, double, triple, quad, and specialty configurations.  We offer a wide variety of fitting options for our alloy chain slings such as: grab hooks, sling hooks, foundry hooks, and self-locking hooks to name a few.  All of our alloy chain slings include heavy duty engraved tags in accordance with OSHA requirements and ASME B30.9.  Welded alloy chain slings are available upon request.

Grade 30 Chain is a general utililty chain used for farm, industrial and home applications.  Available in sizes from 3/16" - 1" by the pail or drum with finish options of hot dipped galvanized chain, electro galvanized chain, or self colored chain. Grade 30 chain is NOT approved for overhead lifting!

Grade 43 Chain features both high tensile strength and abrasion resistance required by the heavy duty hauling, farm, and construction firms.  Available in sizes from 1/4" - 1/2" by the half or full drum with finish options of hot dipped galvanized chain or self colored chain.  Grade 43 chain is NOT approved for overhead lifting!

Grade 70 Chain is designed specifically to provide a light, yet strong chain for binding, tie-downs, towing, and construction use.  Available in sizes from 1/4" - 5/8" by the foot or discount pricing on bulk drums with a finish of yellow zinc chromate.  Grade 70 chain is NOT approved for overhead lifting!

Grade 80 Alloy Chain is designated as on overhead lifting chain making this chain ideal for sling use as well as tie-downs.  Available in sizes from 7/32" - 1 1/4" by the foot or discount pricing on bulk drums with a black armour finish.

Grade 100 Alloy Chain is the most popular choice for an overhead lifting chain in the market today.  Our grade 100 alloy chain can withstand temperatures of 400 degrees Farenheit and has a 25% higher load capacity than grade 80 alloy chain. This type of  alloy chain also yeilds a 30% weight reduction versus grade 80 chain to allow for easier handling.  Available in sizes from 7/32" - 1 1/4" by the foot or discount pricing on bulk drums with a black armour finish.

Grade 120 Alloy Chain is the strongest chain available to date. This alloy chain is designed for overhead lifting and with the 50% higher working load limit versus grade 80 alloy chain (20% higher that grade 100 chain) you will benefit from significant weight reduction.  Manufactured with square links, resulting in lighter weight and increased resistance to bending.  Available in sizes from 9/32" - 1/2" by the foot or discount pricing on bulk drum with a light blue powder coating finish.

Stainless Steel Type 316 Chain is designed to be used in the food processing, marine, fishing, and industrial applications.  This chain offering is highly resistant to salt water and will not spark.  Available in sizes from 1/8" - 1/2" with discount pricing on bulk drum purchases.  Stainless Steel Type 316 Chain is NOT approved for overhead lifting (select grade 50 stainless steel chain for applications that require overhead lifting).

Grade 50 Stainless Steel Lifting Chain was is manufactured to resist pitting and most kinds of corrosion.  This type of lifting chain is the only stainless steel chain approved for overhead lifting.  Available in sizes from 3/16" - 5/8" by the foot or discount bulk pricing on drums.

Mobile Load Testing Services & Inspections

We offer inspections and mobile proof test services for product verification, break testing, and load testing to ensure compliance for all alloy chain slings we sell and repair.  Our mobile proof test services are available throughout the United States.  In addition to our mobile load testing services we have stationary test beds to service Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Wyoming, North Dakota, New Mexico and all surrounding areas.  Feel free to contact one of our industry professionals today at 866-369-9507.
