Overhaul Balls

Horizon Cable Service stocks many styles of overhaul balls for your crane and wire rope needs from all the top manufacturers including Crosby, McKissick, and Johnson.  With varying weights and wire rope sizes, Horizon Cable has all of your rigging and crane needs covered.

Top Swivel Overhaul Balls can be purchased with eye hooks or self-locking hooks.  These downhaul balls having a working load limit range from 4 tons through 30 tons.  All of the top swivel overhaul balls can be purchased with the Terminator wedge socket upon request.

Non Swivel Overhaul Balls may also be purchased with eye hooks or self-locking hooks.  This style of downhaul ball has a working load limit from 4 tons up to 15 tons.  All of the non-swivel overhaul balls can be purchased with the Terminator wedge socket option upon request.

Split Overhaul Balls are designed to easily attach to wire rope.  We offer split overhaul balls for wire rope from 1/4" – 7/8” with ball weights up to 100 pounds. 

Angular Contact Bearing Swivel Overhaul balls are used in applications where headroom is limited.  These are available with working load limits ranging from 1.5 tons through 8.5 tons.
