Model FDL - Fork Lift Drum Lifter / Rotator

The Lifter/Rotator unit is designed for use with a lift truck in areas where an overhead hoist is not available. The drum is secured to the carrier above the level of the forks thus it may be used at the full height of the truck. With the chain wheel, the lift truck driver may rotate the drum from the cab of the truck (10’ long drop chain). This unit will handle all standard 55 gallon metal drums.

Custom lifting devices are those helpful pieces of equipment that provide a connection point between the crane and the load being lifted.  They can be structural lifting devices, vacuum lifters, magnets or grapples.

Lifting Beams (sometimes referred to as spreader bars) are the most common lifting devices in the market today.  Lifting beams are manufactured to guarantee a safe and efficient means of lifting loads with single or multiple attachment points when headroom is limited.  A lifting beam typically has a single lifting point on top with multiple lift points on the bottom.  All lifting beams are designed in fixed or adjustable lengths, and are manufactured to ASME B30.20 and TTH-1  Design Category B Service Class 2 requirements.  Additionally, each lifting beam is proof tested to 125% capacity for added safety.  Contact us today to inquire about our fiberglass lifting beams and spreader bar options.

Spreader Bars (also known as spreader beams) are another common lifting device offered by Horizon Cable Service.  Spreader bars typically have lifting points on top and bottom and additional lifting points on opposite ends.  All spreader bars are designed in fixed or adjustable lengths similar to lifting beams, but new advances in technology now allow for the end user to build their own spreader beam by using specialized spreader beam end fittings along with A53 Grade B schedule 40 pipe.  All spreader bars are manufactured to ASME B30.20 and BTH-1 Design Category B Service Class 2 requirements.  Additionally, each manufactured spreader beam is proof tested to 125% capacity for added safety.

Lever Chain Hoists combine easy operation with a compact, low headroom design that easily handles real world demands.  These chain hoists can be used horizontally, vertically, inverted or at any other load angle and have the same strength to get the job done.

Manual Chain Hoists combine heavy duty construction with top of the line internal components for the most demanding industrial applications.  These chain hoists are able to withstand rugged, day in and day out use.  They are easily maintained and repairable making this chain hoist the perfect choice for a long lasting fleet of industrial products.

We also offer pallet lifters, coil lifters, drum lifters, tea cup pipe carriers and many other lifting devices for any application.  The listings here are just some of the lifting devices we offers, but by no means all of them.  Contact us today to discuss your personal lifting requirements at anytime and our experienced sales staff will assit you.
