The higher working load limits of the grade 120 (50% more compared to grade 80) allows significant weight reduction. Reducing the weight of the chain sling makes the assembly easier to use for the end-user. Additionally, the profile of the chain improves the bending resistance of the chain. This is significant when loading the chain over a corner.

Round steel chains for use in overhead lifting. Maximum working temperature: 400°F. Standard surface: blasted, clear painted. Grade 100 chain has a 25% higher load capacity than grade 80. This yields a 30% weight reduction resulting in easier handling. Our grade 100 chain meets and exceeds the specifications of NACM, ASTM, and OSHA. Due to grade 100 chains ruggedness and resistance to fatigue it is quickly becoming the most popular choice for construction, manufacturing, and oil filed related industries.

Grade 80 chain is rugged, versatile, high-strength, low-weight chain manufactured from special analysis alloy steel designed for overhead lifting. It is quenched and tempered before proof testing and the ultimate tensile strength is over twice that of ordinary steel chain. Tensile strength following heat treatment meets or exceeds all existing OSHA, Government, NACM, and ASTM specification requirements.

Winch Line Tail Chain is a flexible attachment for use on the end of wire rope. Primarily intended for use on truck and tractor winch lines. Length specified is exclusive of hook. Use same size chains as wire rope. The hook is dropped forged alloy steel and heat treated for extra durability. The hook is designed to prevent wear on wire rope.

Grade 70 was designed specifically to provide a light, yet strong chain for binding, tie-downs, towing, and construction use. Made from a variety of medium carbon and alloy materials. This grade of chains strength to weight ratio exceeds that of proof coil (grade 30) and high test (grade 43) chain. Induction heat treated, Grade 70 transport chain meets all requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT), CCMTA, & CVSA for truck tie-down use. Heavy duty chain exceeds standard trucking chain requirements for chains at grade 70 carbon steel. This chain also has excellent resistance to pitting in phosphoric and acetic environments. Only use components of the same workload limits and are rated for overhead lifting.
